The jury fails the Agro Mujer Awards 2018
Yesterday took place the meeting of the members of the jury of the Premios Agro Mujer 2018 to choose the winners of the first edition. These awards are part of MUJER AGRO, a project created in 2017 by Siete Agromarketing and e-Comercio Agrario to visualize equal opportunities in the agri-food sector and promote, dialogue and awareness on the role of professional women in this agri-food industry and in the entire value chain.
Mr. Lamela Fernández, Mr. Manuel Lamela Fernández, who dedicated himself to supporting the MUJER AGRO project, which is so important for the sector. After the corresponding votes, the 4 winners were selected from a total of 21 candidates in the following practices: Agro Women, Entrepreneurship, Business and Man.
The 4 winners selected in this first edition will be announced at the awards ceremony that will take place on January 17 at the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
The jury is made up of experts and prestigious institutions in the agri-food sector: Dª. Carolina Gutiérrez, Subdirector of Dynamization of the Rural Environment of MAPAMA; Dª Gissele Falcón, General Director of Siete Agromarketing and eComercio Agrario; Mr. Jorge Jordana, Director of the Agrifood Area of the Lafer Foundation; Dª Victoria Moreno, Deputy Vice President of Scientific-Technical Areas of the CSIC, who attends on behalf of the President Dª. Rosa Menéndez; Dª María Jesús 
Villamide, Deputy Director of Practices, Employability and Internationalization of the Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineering (UPM); Dª Nuria Mª Arribas, Director of R + D + i of FIAB; Dª Jerónima Bonafé, President of the Association of Women of Agri-Food Cooperatives of Spain, AMCAE; Dª Nuria Martínez, Director of the Association for the Promotion of the Consumption of Fruits and Vegetables, “5 al día”.
The jury’s decision translates into the awards ceremony that will be held on January 17, 2019, at 17.30, in the Assembly Hall of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, in the Plaza de San Juan s / n, in madrid The event can be followed through social networks with the hashtag #mujerAGRO.
