Spain: The benefits of canned food as the AME

The Spanish Metalgráfica Association (EMA) has launched a campaign to promote the consumption of food and canned drinks in the summer, highlighting its quality assurance, as well as ease in opening and comfort to carry.

The Spanish Metalgráfica Association (EMA) has launched a campaign to promote the consumption of food and canned drinks in the summer, highlighting its quality assurance, as well as ease in opening and comfort to carry.

“Canned have become a tasty choice because they can be made with a variety of recipes worthy of the best palates adding to the diet food of all groups: vegetables, fruits, meat, fish or seafood” indicated from the AME.

In this sense, the canned products keep intact all the nutritional properties as factories are located near the place of origin of the raw materials. “From the harvest to the canning of some products just pass between two and four hours,” says the association.

Also it notes that the SMA canned food processing allows preservation for a long period of time. Usually they preserve cans of two to five years the qualities of taste and nutrition levels, although usually keep their vitamins and proteins for longer. Its seal keeps out germs and guarantees the inviolability of the content.

In addition, these foods do not require refrigeration and can be eaten directly, without having to cook, and do not require more tools because they can be heated in the package itself. Indeed, containers of shallow steel and aluminum and large opening can be used in microwave ovens.

Finally, the association notes that the metal containers are highly resistant to impact and supporting extreme temperatures and pressures, They are joined that are increasingly lighter, making them easier to transport.
