Spain: Start the acceleration of the eight projects selected in agri Orizont

The Orizont acceleration process has already begun. The eight agri-food projects selected in the first program to support entrepreneurs are already installed in the Navarre town of Tudela, where they will have access to facilities equipped to develop its activity in the food nursery Cein in Agrifood City (CAT ), as well as accommodation during acceleration.
Thanks to this initiative promoted by Sodena, the chosen entrepreneurs will also get a significant economic boost of up to 110,000 euros, plus a full training program six months designed by CERN. During these months the entrepreneurs will learn, among other things, from such varied subjects such as human resources, strategic marketing, finance, development of a strategic business plan, intellectual property and legal aspects. Besides those who wish they will have direct access to a long list of partner companies specialized mentors, research centers and universities are already offering support to entrepreneurs. This access through individualized tutoring, visits to companies in the sector or mentoring is an important milestone Orizont differential against other similar initiatives.
The first call for this initiative Sodena has chosen eight projects, mostly from Spain, although there are Chile and Colombia, everyone is focused on creating technology solutions for the development of the sector. Among them are Agriversity, platform online training for agribusiness; Brioagro Technologies, Greenhouse sensor enabling control of crops through technology; Fuvex Agro, simpler to operate for use in the agricultural / civil sector and at a lower cost drones; Kiva Foods, Mixes / rubs / kits and other blends of quality ingredients to prepare different dishes; Luraki, app for the best agricultural products; Making Genetics – 3G Nutrition, aimed at nutrition in the elderly genetic test; Natural Functional Foods, agricultural biotechnology to create functional foods with higher nutritional value and, finally, Simple Agri, a platform that aims to eliminate all obstacles preventing small farmers using the latest farm management.
