En eComercio Agrario entrevistas a Álvaro Partida Lopez, Subdirector & Responsable de Comunicaciones en Partida Logistics.

Opinion Review by Álvaro Partida Lopez, Deputy Director Commercial & Communications of Partida Logistics, who reflects on the war between Russia and Ukraine and its consequences for the agri-food sector.

The conflict that we are currently experiencing between Russia and Ukraine, for us, has hardly affected us. The few and complex import operations from Morocco to Russia have disappeared. I say complex because they required significant logistical and customs coordination as the merchandise had to be changed by truck in Belgium, Holland, Germany… to enter Russian territory.

In this sense, the collateral damage of the conflict and, above all, the constant rise in costs in general, does add difficulty for companies to import/export. In other words, organizations, especially SMEs, have more obstacles to remain competitive and obtain benefits.

Our mission as a customs/logistics partner is to advise in line with the origin and destination of the product and to operate quickly to avoid delays and unnecessary costs.
