Spain: General elections 20D. Agri-food policies
The agri-food sector and rural areas is also starring in the proposals of the Spanish political parties attending the meeting of December 20, after which the formula that will govern the country for the next four years. In the final phase of the election campaign, responsible for Agriculture of the four main political parties according to the results of the surveys have options to govern, they have met on December 15 in a single framework, the School of Agricultural Engineers of Madrid to discuss and propose on agriculture, food and rural areas. For the PP, Jose Cruz Perez has gone Lapaz, Agriculture spokesman of the Popular Party in the Congress of Deputies; by the PSOE, Alejandro Alonso Núñez, coordinator of the Electoral Program in Agriculture and Rural Development; by Ciudadanos, Eduardo González Gómez, national coordinator of Agriculture; and by Podemos, Teresa Garcia Azcárate, a partner in the Programme for Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment.
The specific electoral debate on Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has been organized by the Alumni Association of the School of Agricultural Engineers of Madrid, in collaboration with ETSIA Madrid, Aniade, Alumni Association of Agronomists of Madrid, AEFAO, Agricultural Editorial, Official College of Agricultural Engineers and Canary center and Agricultural Forum Foundation.
