From 8th to 11th October, the world gastronomy will meet again in San Sebastian to celebrate a new edition of Gastronomika. The conference will unveil the culinary secrets of India through a vast representation of chefs and products. You can now register for the congress at www.sansebastiangastronomika.com
After completing the culinary world map in 2016, San Sebastian Gastronomika-Euskadi Basque Country is facing a new edition. This congress will turn its gaze to India, “a country that is a continent and a culture that is a whole world of cultures.” With the presence in Donosti of its most important cooks – with a restaurant in the Asian country or around the world -, its most known products – tandoor, biryani, currys … – and its culinary diversity, India goes to San Sebastian to present to the world a Cuisine of thousands of years, an immense flow of concepts and techniques.
In its 19th edition, Gastronomika again chose a single country as a guest – “given its size” – and continues to excel in international congress. Possibility of tasting live from the auditorium, presence of the best companies of the sector in the Market, presentations of the most laureate national and international cooks and interaction with the city that welcomes him. Virtues of a congress that radiographs the culinary world presenting novelties and debating proposals, becoming a meeting point for world cuisine.
The members of its technical committee (Hilario Arbelaitz, Karlos Arguiñano, Juan Mari Arzak, Martin Berasategui, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Pedro Subijana, Eneko Atxa and Josean Alija) are already working on a program that will return to surprise, this year with more spices. Registration is now open.
