Days: Women in the economic activity of the Rural World. Madrid

The Federation of Rural Women’s Associations (Fademur) will hold a great day on Tuesday 10th October on the role of rural women in the Spanish economy, and their key role as guarantors of food sovereignty, the territorial structure, maintenance of biodiversity and the fight against depopulation.
The day of debate will be held at the Palacio de Cibeles, headquarters of Madrid City Hall, and will be attended by the Mayor of Madrid, Manuela Carmena, UGT Secretary General, Pepe Álvarez, Secretary General of UPA, Lorenzo Ramos, and the president of Fademur, Teresa Lopez, among others.
During the event, a manifesto will be read for the rights of rural women, several round tables and debate will be held and the Fademur prizes will be given to rural women entrepreneurs.
