Grupo Siro Foundation and LAFER Foundation promote excellence training in the agri-food sector
Fundación Grupo Siro and Fundación LAFER have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting the insertion of talent in the agrifood company, favoring the employability and professional careers of the students of the Master in Management of Agrifood Companies (MGEA) that the LAFER Foundation promotes from 2010.
Juan Manuel González Serna, Chairman of the Grupo Siro Foundation, pointed out that “from Grupo Siro Foundation we bet on the talent of people and invest in it, as a great asset that enhances their professional and personal development and, at the same time, help us ensure our continuity. ”
For his part, Manuel Lamela, President of the LAFER Foundation, stressed that “the signing of this agreement is essential for the training initiatives we develop, while we bet on the incorporation of leading companies in the agri-food sector in our goal to improve employability of our students. ”
The commitment to talent is a key element to fulfill one of the aims of the Grupo Siro Foundation: to facilitate the excellent training of the employees of Grupo Siro and their families, and to detect new professional talents.
The LAFER Foundation, which organizes together with the University of Nebrija the Master in Management of Agrifood Companies, includes among its objectives to improve the employability and professional opportunities of the students of this postgraduate course.
MGEA is included in the High Training Program for Business Managers of the Agri-Food Chain of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA).
