The leading company in the supply of nutrients and plant health products, BRANDT, continues its commitment to innovation and research in the agri-food sector with the incorporation of new products capable of providing maximum calcium values to the fruit.
During the presentation Juan Manuel Ruiz, Professor of Plant Physiology at the Institute of Agricultural and Fisheries Research and Training (IFAPA), spoke about the highlights of the report conducted by the University of Granada. He also presented the results of one of the trials after the application of Mannin-Plex in bell pepper plantation with mesh cover. Ruiz stated that “it is a product that is absorbed very well via irrigation, but its results via foliar have been successful since it has been possible to see the great firmness of the fruits and the high integrity of the product in this crop providing calcium and its distribution through the phloem”.
Manni-Plex, the mircronutrient highway
This product at BRANDT is a delivery system designed to provide micronutrients to the growing points of the plant made with a unique blend of alcoholic sugars or alcohol sugars that provide 4 advantages:
– It has wetting and sticking agents for better leaf contact.
– It has the smallest molecular size of any micronutrient carrier.
– Once in the plant, it is the only delivery system that provides nutrients directly to the phloem and xylem.
– It is excellent for use with pesticides.
In addition, Manni-Plex helps the conduction of nutrients inside the plant helping the vegetative and reproductive growth points. In this sense, José Yánez, development director for Spain and Portugal at BRANDT, emphasized that “Brandt Manni-Plex is the first range in Spain and Europe for organic with a high absorption and translocation capacity”.
BRANDT and the “Patrulla Águila”
A few months ago BRANDT and the Patrulla Águila signed a sponsorship agreement with the Air Force Patrol becoming the only sponsor in the agricultural sector. The main objective of the agreement is to promote teamwork and union. As Amparo Tena, BRANDT’s Marketing Director, told: “We are a company with a long history, therefore, being sponsors of the Patrulla Águila identifies us with values such as teamwork, reputation and honesty”.
In this way, all the attendees were able to experience first-hand a unique experience at the General Air Academy, where the unit’s team surprised us with an acrobatic rehearsal.
