Bayer and AVA-ASAJA organize the Sustainability Forum to analyze with the sector the challenges of the future of agriculture
In order to address in depth the sustainability in the agriculture sector and the challenges of the future, Bayer and the Valencian Association of Farmers (AVA-ASAJA) organize the Sustainability Forum, which will take place next Tuesday May 29, 09:00 to 14:00, at the Hotel Las Arenas in Valencia

Articulated around three basic axes: economic growth, social responsibility and environmental responsibility, the Sustainability Forum will bring together experts from the agricultural, academic, administrative, business, associative and communication sectors representing institutions such as the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV), the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA) and the Triptolemos Foundation that will analyze the keys to agricultural competitiveness and contribute their own experiences to achieve sustainable agriculture.
The Sustainability Forum will also have an outdoor exhibition area where you can see how Phytobac works, a system that eliminates the effluents of phytosanitary products to protect water from possible contamination, or how auxiliary insects and pollinators work in biological control of plant diseases, among others.
The scriptwriter and comedian Eugeni Alemany will be in charge of conducting the event in which Francisco Rodríguez Mulero, Autonomous Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development will participate; Rogelio Llanes Ribas, General Director of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Generalitat Valenciana; and Fernando Miranda, General Director of Productions and Agricultural Markets of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and the Environment. On the part of the organizers, Adonay Obando, director of the Crop Science division of Bayer Iberia and Cristobal Aguado, president of AVA-ASAJA will be responsible for the opening and closing of the event.
