ARBOS goes out to the field with new grain seeders
Every farmer knows how important sowing is, the first step of the crop cycle, which significantly affects crop productivity. What factors guarantee efficient planting? It is essential a well prepared land, good environmental conditions at the time of distribution, high quality seeds, but, above all, high performance planting tools. To offer the best response to this type of needs, ARBOS presents its line of cereal, mechanical and pneumatic seeders, always updated to have the implements required for sustainable agriculture and in keeping with the times.
It is a wide range developed thanks to the precious know-how of MaterMacc, a leading company in the sowing and spraying sector, which has been part of the ARBOS Group since 2015.
A complete line of products, designed to meet the needs of the most demanding farmers. First of all, we have MEK, the mechanical in-line planter for cereals, ideal for finely carved land and equipped with a single disc to better manage crop residues. The MEK-X offers the same characteristics, but allows a minimum tillage of the soil and use two different seeds thanks to the double dispenser. Both ranges have different configurations in terms of distance between rows, with the same working width, as well as the possibility of burying seeds and fertilizer. Compact and lightweight, those are the keywords for the ARBOS Research and Development team. In fact, these implements have been created to guarantee the lowest cantilever weight on the tractor and, therefore, lower power absorption, low consumption and better maneuverability during maneuvering. Solutions capable of satisfying the needs of each farmer in terms of product to be buried (seeds of different sizes from 0.5 mm to 10 mm or fertilizer), but also of soil type and amount to be invested (from 1 kg / ha to 500 kg / ha) in suspended or towed versions from 2.5 m to 4 m.
Together with mechanical implements for cereals, pneumatic implements designed for different types of soil tillage stand out, with loads of 25 to 50 kg for each work item and a wide range of planting crops. They are easily regulated and are perfect for quick use in the field, also with superspecific kits for the distribution of small seeds, without having to change the reels to go from dosages of 2 to 450 kg. In addition, to maximize the loading volume and facilitate maintenance, the hoppers do not have mixing tubes. The range includes the MSD in-line seeder, ideal for tilled or semi-finished land. Followed by the MSD 2.0, which has a dosage of unbeatable uniformity thanks to its 4 distribution heads, the MSD 2.0 Elektro, equipped with an electric motor, and the MSD 2.0 FTC, which increases the capacity of the seed hopper, without compromise tractor stability. Among the several workhorses, the MSD 2.0 Combi stands out, which combines the advantages of the MSD 2.0 with the power of the rotary harrow and offers a working width that can reach 6 meters in the MSD 2.0 Combi Folding models.
Finally, we have the UST, spearhead and innovative direct sowing model under the surface; a booming agronomic technique, whose objective is to maintain soil fertility by eliminating the processes that precede planting. The patented “wing” planting element of ARBOS UST sows, fertilizes and weeds the soil in a single pass, allowing the crop to benefit from the padded effect of the remains of crops that have remained on the surface of the land. This technique, widely used today – also in Europe – is called conservation agriculture and is booming in countries such as South America, China, India, where it is subsidized by the State to combat desertification. This complete range of cereal seeders confirms the unstoppable evolution of ARBOS in the development of complete lines of high-power tractors and implements and technology to ensure a complete and sustainable agronomic cycle, at the service of farms.
