Agustin Herrero, new CEO of Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain

The rector of Agri-food Cooperatives Council of Spain appointed new CEO of Spanish Agri-food Cooperatives: Agustín Herrero. He is replacing Eduardo Baamonde, who has joined Cajamar.

The rector of Agri-food Cooperatives Council of Spain appointed new CEO of Spanish Agri-food Cooperatives: Agustín Herrero. He is replacing Eduardo Baamonde, who has joined Cajamar.

The new CEO has held since 1996 as Deputy Director of the Organization, in charge of coordinating the technical services. Natural Herrero Agustin Leon, has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid.

Herrero is linked to the food cooperative for 25 years and has represented Cooperative Agro-alimentary of Spain in various forums such as the Observatory of the food chain and the Interprofessional Council of MAGRAMA also actively participated in the drafting of the Law on Measures to improve the functioning of the Food Chain and Integration Cooperative Act.
