Adonay Obando, new president of AEPLA
Formed in Business Administration, Marketing and Civil Construction, he has spent most of his career in the company Bayer CropScience, which he joined 19 years occupying different positions in countries like Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Germany and Mexico. In 2014 assumes the position of CEO of Bayer CropScience Iberia, based in Valencia, since it occupies today.
The Business Association for the Protection of Plants (AEPLA) meeting in General Assembly last April 7, Adonay Obando agreed to appoint as President of the organization for the next two years.
His interest in analyzing the functioning of human groups and their commitment to eliminate corporate rigidity, combined with his ability to listen, shape the character of this Costa Rican, 49 years old, now based in Spain, which will certainly enrich the new stage open AEPLA marked by the implementation of communication activities to help better understand the important role the sector plays plant to ensure the sustainable future of our agriculture.
