Fairs and international events in which Agragex will take part in 2016

The Spanish association of manufacturers and exporters of agricultural equipment focuses its promotional activities this year to diversify its exports through the provision of a total of 40 appearances at fairs, national and international missions, compared to 2015 when it participated in 34 events.

The Spanish association of manufacturers and exporters of agricultural equipment focuses its promotional activities this year to diversify its exports through the provision of a total of 40 appearances at fairs, national and international missions, compared to 2015 when it participated in 34 events.

The figures for Spanish exports of agricultural equipment registered this year show a positive trend towards market diversification, which helps to consolidate its results and improve the figures. Agragex, the Spanish association of exporting manufacturers in this sector, is preparing a Plan of foreign promotion activities during 2016 will intensify the number of citations and concentrate efforts on expanding the range of countries to be visited.

The Spanish Association of Manufacturers-Exporters Association of Agricultural Machinery, Components, greenhouses, crop protection, irrigation systems, livestock equipment, Animal Health and Nutrition, Forestry Machinery, Biomass and Post-harvest (Agragex) plans to intensify its activity Promotional outside during 2016 and for this reason its Business Plan 2016 includes a total of 40 appearances at fairs, national and international missions, compared to 2015 34 events.

During the coming year, it will increase these activities, Agragex concentrate efforts on expanding the number of countries to be visited, in order to support the diversification of export markets for Spanish companies. So, special emphasis will be made during 2015 in areas that have been significant increases in exports, such as Latin America, Asia and North Africa.

Trade shows

Undoubtedly, it is one of the pillars of AGRAGEX activity, contributing their efforts to support and that Spanish companies have the opportunity to display their equipment and technology in the major international events. In this sense, Agragex repeated presence at fairs as SIAM (Morocco), AGRAME (Dubai), GREENTECH (Netherlands), SIMA-SIPSA (Algeria), EIMA (Italy), EUROTIER (Germany), and GROWTECH (Turkey), TECNOAGRO ( Peru), DAIRY SHOW EVENT (UK), SPACE and SOMMET DE L’ÉLEVAGE (France) WORLD POULTRY (United States), FRUIT LOGISTICA (Germany) YUGAGRO (Russia) WORLD AG EXPO (California-USA. ) AGRO SHOW (Poland), KazAgro (Kazakhstan) and AGRO FOOD EXPO (Mexico).
But also adds new records Agragex and sectors, with events such as AIFM / VIV MEA (Abu Dhabi) and FEWA-EMDA (USA), NAMPO SHOW (South Africa), MIXED CEREALS FOOD (Russia), VICTAM ASIA (Thailand ), HORTI ASIA (Thailand), World Pork Expo (Iowa, USA), AGROANGOLA (Angola) and VIETSTOCK (Vietnam).
A Agragex attend these fairs to support Spanish companies along with official pavilion grouped shares, joint stands and even customized services that have been very positive in recent appointments.

Trade Missions

Trade missions are one of the basic activities Agragex and during 2016 will be made 11 trips (one more than in 2015) that will pass through 18 countries: Egypt, Israel, Guatemala, Cuba, Kenya, South Africa, Peru, Ecuador, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, USA, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
In addition, during the celebration of FIMA in Zaragoza, will be a new edition of the Trade Missions of Agragex; which aims to bring more than 70 importers and distributors of agricultural equipment from 30 different countries.

Jaime Hernani, director of Agragex says, “With this plan we hope to contribute to increase the diversification of markets for Spanish exports in the sector. Although state aids are becoming smaller Agragex bet increasingly export as natural outlet for our viable businesses and can remain a profitable business with the manufacture of agricultural machinery. The activities of the first quarter of 2016 have obtained very well received by our partners and increased participation shows.”
