From 9th to 11th August, the capital of Lleida hosts the 40th edition of the World Conference on Apple and Pear, PROGNOSFRUIT, in charge of the World Apple and Pear Association (WAPA) and as co-organizer, the Business Association of the Fruit of Catalonia (Afrucat).
It is a world-leading annual event for the fruit industry in which the forecast of apple and pear production and fruit market trends in the EU and beyond will be announced. This conference will also address some of the most important topical issues affecting both fruit sectors.
In addition to the professional part of the conference, there is also a technical visit and various social events to strengthen networking and contact between the European apple and pear community.
PROGNOSFRUIT brings together producers, processors and traders from several countries within and outside Europe and also represents a networking opportunity for the decision makers who attend it.
