Tecnidex supports the largest forum of citrus experts in the Mediterranean

The company TECNIDEX supports with its sponsorship the International Meeting PHYTOMA-Spain, the largest forum of citrus experts in the Mediterranean that is held in Valencia on 22nd and 23th November and which will meet near 400 professionals in the sector.

TECNIDEX specializes in the post-harvest field of Products, Technologies and Services to extend the life of fruits and vegetables, guaranteeing their health and quality

Under the title “Perspectives of the Citriculture to the new risks and phytosanitary threats”, PHYTOMA-Spain will bring together the main international experts in this sector. In fact, will have about 30 papers of high scientific value, which makes these days the largest meeting of Vegetable Health of the Citrus held in the Mediterranean.

The meeting will focus especially on emerging pests and diseases, a very relevant aspect in the cultivation of citrus fruits given the threat of new invasive species due to globalization, in contrast to the reduction and/or restriction of active substances to address the necessary treatments for its control and the problematic derived from the presence of residues in the treated fruit.

The conference, which will take place in the Auditorium of the Universitat Politècnica de València, will bring together all professionals in the sector, from researchers to technical advisers, commercial distributors and manufacturers of products and technologies.
