“Rincón de la Subbética” with the highest score in EchoTrama 2016

The D.O.P. Priego de Córdoba has earned with his signature “Rincón de la Subbética” of mills Subbética SL, the highest score in the XV edition of the International Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil Ecological, EcoTrama Awards 2016, which organized by the Provincial de Córdoba and Ecovalia on its 25th anniversary, and the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía and the City of Pozoblanco.

“Rincón de la Subbética” has received the Special Prize of the Province of Córdoba this year, putting its ecological Aove among the best in the market. As assessed by the jury established for the resolution of the contest, it highlighted the many and varied nuances of this oil: “very complex oil that has intense fruity green olive and freshly cut grass, and nose, bursting green tomatoes and alloza. Reminiscent of fresh vegetables. Sweet, harmonious, balanced, “said the jury.

Notably, in this edition of the awards EcoTrama they have participated fifty samples of organic oil, from different Spanish regions. A new recognition to organic production prieguense seal, which again reaffirms the excellence of AOVEs produced under the aegis of the D.O.P Priego de Córdoba.
