Proexport is trading at Fruit Logistica to grow fruit and vegetables exports
Twenty-five associates continue their busy schedule of business meetings at Fruit Logistica 2016 in order to increase exports of fruits and vegetables and diversify the destinations of its products. “The European Union is our largest customer, but are incorporating countries who value quality and service we offer producers of the Region of Murcia. We’re not only Huerta of Europe, working to be the garden of the world, “says the president of Proexport.
On the first day of the fair in Berlin they have had the visit of President of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, who has been commissioned to inaugurate the space of the Region of Murcia.
Destinations Murcia exports
In the last eleven months of 2015, Murcia has increased its exports of fruits and vegetables by 1.4% in volume over the same period last year, reaching 2,411,666 tons.
Germany is the main destination of Murcia horticultural products with 629,185 tons exported until November 2015, representing 25.73% of the regional total. After the Germans, the British are the second recipients of the fruits and vegetables of the Region with 20.27%, followed by France (15.9%) and the Netherlands (8.55%).
The list of countries to which fruits and vegetables from Murcia target reaches hundred destinations, among which are consolidating in recent years countries like Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Asia is now the focus of producers associated with Proexport.

Proexport has in the space of the Region of Murcia (hall 18) with a stand in the exhibiting Agricultural Columbine, Agrícola Santa Eulalia, Agrupapulpí, Amaco, Campo de Lorca, Fruveg, Kettle Produce Spain, Puerto Export and Teresa Hermanos.
