TROPS receives the award for the Best Business Trajectory
The malagueña cooperative leader in production and marketing of mango, TROPS, has been awarded with the Prize to the best Business Trajectory for Actualidad Económica. The award, which highlights the business journey of the Malaga cooperative and whose delivery took place this Thursday in Malaga, coincides with the center of the national mango production campaign. “The key is the ability demonstrated by producers and workers of TROPS to achieve a full focus on the consumer,” said Enrique Colilles, General Director of TROPS.
Under the slogan “Free your senses”, TROPS is carrying out a strong promotional campaign to make its mangoes known to both the final consumer and the professional public. With this objective, from last September 17 until October 7, TROPS is carrying out various product tastings in wholesale markets in Madrid and Barcelona and in greengrocers distributed throughout the national territory -Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastián and Palma de Mallorca-.
As part of its mango campaign 2018, in which TROPS has announced a production of more than 13,000 tons, an increase of 30% in production volume compared to 2017, the cooperative from Malaga wants to reward the loyalty and commitment of its customers in Spain. For this reason, in the fruit shops participating in the promotion you can find scratch cards with which to obtain baskets with tropical fruit, exclusive shopping bags designed by TROPS or dinners in the restaurant of the 2-star Michelin chef Dani García.
“From TROPS we want this product to be known; that at first it is presupposed tropical but that it is cultivated in the Malaga region of the Axarquía and the tropical coast of Granada “, has expressed Vanessa Varo, Public Relations of TROPS. The malagueña cooperative is recognized for its quality product throughout Europe and exports 75% of its mango production. Among the main markets of destination are France, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands.
In this effort to achieve recognition by the Spanish consumer, TROPS is actively involved in various sporting events, which has led him to be present at the Challenge Madrid triathlon. In addition, this year for the first time the handle TROPS has the recognition of the Spanish Heart Foundation and participates as an Official Supplier in the IX Popular Heart Race, held in Madrid this September 29.
