The new Massey Ferguson Telescopic TH.8043 reaches a new dimension in terms of capacity and performance

MF TH.8043 Features

A new dimension in the capacities to work, with a maximum height of elevation of 7.5 m and a maximum load capacity of 4.3 tons. Compact size. With a great performance

Among the characteristics of the new MF TH.8043 we can highlight a maximum elevation of 7.5 meters, while the maximum load capacity is 4300kg (13% more if we compare it with the MF TH.7038).

The new load capacity in normal conditions of loading of trailers (4 meters of elevation of elevation and about 2 meters of extension of arm) is now of an incredible 4300kg. This increase is very significant, about 700 kg more compared to the MF TH.7038, this leads to new levels of production. The load capacity at the point where the arm is fully extended has also been improved to 1600 kg. The new MF TH.8043 is therefore capable of lifting heavy materials even when they are at a great distance from the machine itself.

This engineering work has been carried out by the research and development departments, to give this machine a greater capacity for work, but always maintaining the compact dimensions of its small brother, the MF TH.7038. The total length of the machine is below 5 meters and the total width does not exceed 2.36 meters (460/70 wheel R24). All this, together with an unalterable wheelbase of 2870mm, is combined to produce stability, agility and very large working capacities.

New arm installation

The arm, a key component of this machine, is not only 50 cm longer to reach a higher lifting height, but also the new design of the arm head. The Z-shaped design that provides us with a combination of increased work capacity and complete system integration. This new Z-shaped head gives us greater angles of work, with an increase of 13º in the angle of discharge (49º in total) and an increase of 17º in the range of total movement of the head (159º). This new system is fully integrated, has no impact on work capabilities or visibility (for example, there is no problem with the loading of bales). At the same time, durability is improved.

High performance optimized hydraulic system

The Load Sensing hydraulic system delivers a flow of 190 l / min with a total flow for all the functions of the machine, reaching levels of production and efficiency in which no rival, in addition to a reduction in fuel consumption. The diameter of the lifting cylinder is greater (160mm) and an improvement of the hydraulic pipe system, to further improve the lifting capacities and reduce the times of a cycle.
The new MF TH.8043 installs the BCS – Boom Control System – as a standard equipment. This allows the operator to adjust precisely the flow required by the different functions of the arm to achieve greater precision when necessary. Meanwhile the “Cushion Retract” ensures smooth operations by reducing the flow of the arm when it reaches the last few centimeters of its retraction or the maximum of its extension or overturning of the bucket.

The auxiliary front plugs with quick coupling are part of the standard equipment, while the 4th and 5th functions can be specified as an option through the integrated electrical plug.

A great performance and a low maintenance engine

The MF TH.8043 works thanks to a high performance engine of 3.4 liters, 4 cylinders and 130 hp that uses a very simple technology to comply with the latest emission regulations. It does not need a variable geometry turbocharger or a particulate filter (FAP), the maintenance-free emission control system provides total power at all times. For people working in dusty conditions, an inverted fan is part of the standard equipment that keeps the air intakes clean while the engine cools and runs at peak performance. This system can be adjusted to work automatically, depending on the air temperature or it can also be adjusted to work at pre-set time intervals. The ECO mode reduces consumption since it handles the oil flow and the engine speed.

Smooth, comfortable and efficient transmission

The hydrostatic transmission (has 2 mechanical ranges and 2 hydrostatic ranges) gives us a unique combination of comfort, efficiency and precision. The Speed ​​Control System (SCS) – enables the operator to set the speed of advance regardless of the speed at which the engine is. This ensures optimal performance and efficiency when tasks that require high flow rates are being performed.

Meanwhile, AutoShift takes care that the hydrostatic ranges of the change descend automatically when the effort increases, which guarantees a greater comfort and efficiency. Extremely precise and comfortable when needed, the hydrostatic transmission components have been upgraded so that they can offer greater lifting capacity. Now at 7400 kg (+ 700 kg) this allows the operator to transport heavier loads and this translates into higher productivity. Stable and durable

The 2.87 m wheelbase of the MF TH.8043 is the benchmark in terms of stability and traction, without compromising stability. The new counterweight of 1280 kg (+ 425 kg compared to that of the MF TH.8043) ensures very high stability. Its curved design contributes positively to the maneuverability of the machine with a small turning circle of 3.71 meters.
