Tecnidex, “Paterna award, city of companies”, to the international projection
The company TECNIDEX, with more than 35 years of experience in the protection of fruits and vegetables in the post-harvest, has been awarded in the first edition of the Paterna Awards, City of Enterprises, in the category “Trajectory and International Projection”. This firm has its own subsidiaries in 5 countries and exports to more than 25.
The City Council of Paterna, through the Association “Paterna, city of Enterprises” has held the award ceremony of the first Paterna City Business Awards whose objective is to recognize the most outstanding companies of the five industrial parks in the municipality.
In this first edition, TECNIDEX has been the winner in the International Trajectory and Projection category.
This award recognizes the strong commitment of this company to foreign markets, as well as its personalized model of implementation in other countries through 100% owned subsidiaries
TECNIDEX, FRUIT PROTECTION, specializes in products, technologies and services to guarantee the health and quality of fruits and vegetables in the post-harvest. The company, headquartered in Spain, has its own subsidiaries in Morocco, Turkey, South Africa, Italy and Greece, while exporting to more than 25 countries.
Juan Antonio Sagredo, mayor of Paterna and president of the municipal association, presented the award to the president of the company, Manuel García-Portillo, who was accompanied by workers and relatives.
Garcia-Portillo congratulated the organizers for the initiative and thanked the prize received for the award, stressing that “here are our dreams, our goals” and that although internationalization is not easy “we believe in our model and we continue to work on it day by day” . After that he added that “there is nothing impossible if you have the right people. This is one of our maxims. This award really belongs to the entire TECNIDEX team and, in particular, I want to thank them. ”
At the event, which took place in the Gran Teatre Antonio Ferrandis of the town, came together authorities and businessmen, including all finalists. The mayor of Paterna emphasized the great potential of the city, with almost 3,000 companies, and cited some companies, among them TECNIDEX, of which he said “is a benchmark in post-harvest health.”
