“Staying grounded”: VOG Products releases 2022-2024 sustainability report
VOG Products has made impressive progress in terms of environmental and resource protection, according to its latest sustainability report with the title “Staying grounded”.
Thanks to systematic investments and process optimisations, the company was able to significantly advance its sustainability goals during the reporting period. The sustainability strategy of VOG Products continued to place a special focus on the topics of water and energy or more precisely, climate protection in the most recent fiscal year.
With measures like cooling water optimisation, the company successfully posted a significant reduction in water consumption (-28% as compared to the previous year).
In terms of energy, it expanded its photovoltaic systems to an output of 1,777 kWp. The total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions were reduced by more than 3,000 tonnes CO2 equivalent (-12% as compared to the previous year).
