Technical day of the new variety of yellow onion by day, Joaquin F1. Barrax (Albacete)

On Tuesday, November 14th, the onion team of Bayer Vegetable Seeds celebrates the Technical Conference of Joaquin F1, in which this new variety of yellow onion will be presented during the day. The act will start at 11.00 hours in the facilities of Ferroice in Barrax (Albacete).

The program of this presentation day will be developed according to the following topics:

At 11.30 am, the presentation will take place “Joaquin F1, aspects of improvement for the Spanish market, by the geneticist of Bayer Vegetable Seeds, Juan Carlos Brevis.

At 12 noon, the president of the Association of Onion Harvesters and Exporters (ACEC), Alfonso Tarazona, will speak to address the current situation of the European onion trade.

Then, at 12.30h., José Manuel Franco Lozano, from Bioera will talk about improving the efficiency of the crop through microorganisms.

After the talk, there will be an aperitif followed by the celebration of a paella contest.
