From 16th to 20th October 2016, Sial Paris will be celebrated, turning the City of Lights into the world capital of food, with an emphasis on creativity and agrifood innovation. This edition will feature 7.000 exhibitors from 104 countries which will attend the exhibition center Paris Nord Villepinte to present their products in 21 exhibition sectors. The influx of public forecasts for this year points to 160. 000 visitors.
Sial Paris has been consolidating along its trajectory as the event of the world’s largest food that will give your audience a taste experience full of new discoveries. The kitchen and the largest agri-food laboratory in the world, to exhibit new trends of spring and the direction in which the food is moving today and tomorrow.

In this edition, France remains the first country exhibitor at SIAL Paris, with more than 1.000 companies and 19% of the exhibition area. This year, the French food industry will enjoy a particular visibility, thanks to a privileged partnership with French brands and their buyers. For easy identification, the French exhibitors from 21 sectors present on the living room will be regrouped under a signaling “France” proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture. The “Guide to visit France” will facilitate its location.
SIAL Paris has been associated with MMM, the European specialist competitive travel distribution monitoring, to discover new retail concepts in France. Three “store tours” will be dedicated to innovative food concepts in Paris, specialized grocery store and “gourmet” segment, as well as the outlets of wines and spirits.
In the 2014 edition of Sial Paris, meat and dairy products accounted for more than 1.000 exhibitors, ie 15% of the room supply. In 2016, these two sectors will be subject to two conferences in SIAL TV and several stagings in the context of demonstrations “La Cuisine”.
