This Friday, June 10th, the third edition of the Days ‘ Agricultural Cafe: Citrus’, is celebrated. In this event will be discussed the current situation in the citrus industry and its future prospects. Organized by Agricultural Editorial Spanish with AVA ASAJA (Associació Valenciana D’Agricultors), the forum will serve as a meeting point for professionals and experts quote that it will provide an overview of it all, through the analysis of its different means of production and the possibilities of improving their profitability.
The Third Conference of citrus Agricultural Café will take place at the headquarters of AVA-ASAJA, (Guillem de Castro, 79, Valencia) and they will be opened by the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Generalitat Valenciana, Francisco Rodriguez Mulero, President AVA ASAJA, Cristóbal Aguado, and the Executive Director of Agricultural Editorial Spanish, Jesús López Colmenarejo.
Other participants will be Amaya Jorda Sierra, Director of Marketing and Communications Agrotechnology Group; Carlos Palomar, General Director of the Business Association for the Protection of Plants (AEPLA); and José María García de Francisco, director of the State Agricultural Insurance Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (ENESA). They have also confirmed their participation Director of Foreign Affairs Department of Consumer Affairs, Javier Quiles, specialized in the food industry in the UK market, and José Miguel Flavián, consultant and spokesman of Cooperatives Agro-alimentàries of Valencia, Enrique Bellés.
His inaugural lecture will be given by Roger Llanes Ribas, General Director of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Generalitat Valenciana.
In moderation of the day is the food journalist Jorge Jaramillo.
