The headquarters of the Economic and Social Council in Madrid will host, on November 29th, starting at 10.00h, the First forum on digital transformation and Big Data in Agriculture (Agridata Summit).
The objective of this event is to highlight the importance of tools such as Big Data, sensor, Data Drive Agriculture, precision agriculture, etc., to improve the profitability of agricultural farms.
In this meeting known experts from the agrarian sector and the agri-food industry will analyze this new green revolution and what is the role that will play the institutions and administrations in it.
It will also provide the opportunity to learn from the hands of its protagonists real experiences of digital application in different links of the agro-food chain (production, distribution, and even agricultural auxiliary industry) and what are their technological needs.
In this forum will also participate large companies in the sector of new technologies, such as Google, Telefónica, IBM or Intel, which will reveal what the Internet has to digitize the rural world.
