Day “The almond in hedge in Extremadura”. Guadiana del Caudillo (Badajoz)

Next Thursday, August 24,th will be held in the House of Culture of the Extremaduran town of Guadiana del Caudillo (Badajoz), the day “The almond in hedge in Extremadura”, organized by the Center for Scientific and Technological Research of Extremadura (CICYTEX) and AGROMILLORA.

In this day will participate as collaborators the Official College of Agricultural Technical Engineers of Extremadura and the magazine Caudal de Extremadura and as sponsors, Agroquímicos Zarco, Parras Quintero S.L. And José Ortiz Lavado S.L.

CICYTEX is going to present the study of varieties and new production models in superintensive in almond tree and AGROMILLORA will explain the superintensive model of this crop, to finish later in the field, with a demonstration of harvesting in an almond plantation in hedge of the Property Brothers Burdalo.

Since the CICYTEX is studying, in relation to the cultivation of the almond tree, the agronomic behavior and production of new varieties in the area of Vegas Bajas. A comparative study in Extremadura of European varieties of almond and American husk and a study of viability of plantations superintensivas in irrigated and dry land.
