Madrid hosts the largest gathering of rural entrepreneurs women
More than a hundred women entrepreneurs from all over Spain will meet on 24 and 25 at the ninth meeting of rural women cooperatives, organized by Fademur. At the conference workshops and debates on entrepreneurship in rural areas, creation of businesses and jobs in the villages will be made.
In these years we have created and promoted, from Fademur ten rural cooperatives of local services, consisting of women and hundreds of projects for rural entrepreneurs. Fademur since decided to work cooperatives as a model of true rural development, which will empower women, population is set to the environment and local services so few are created in many of our towns.
During these days of meeting a number of workshops and presentations that will address will be developed: business strategy for entrepreneurial success; Special credit lines for projects of rural women, by Cajamar, María Jesús Rubio Gurrea, Potencialia, coaching and consulting company, Diego Conesa Juste, journalist expert in social networks, Ignacio Temiño Aguirre, professor of UFV, Almudena Fontecha, secretary Equal UGT and Nieves Alonso, coordinator of Fademur.
Fademur also organize a visit to exchange experiences in the municipality of Torremocha de Jarama, in collaboration with the local council, which will include visits to Trabensol (Centro de Convivencia Social, Care and Senior Services) cooperative and Torrearte (Development Agency Local Torrearte SL), with undertakings established in different crafts and agri-food sectors.
For the president of Fademur Teresa Lopez, with the meeting of cooperatives and rural entrepreneurs want “to acknowledge the importance of this development model for rural areas and the incredible entrepreneurial initiatives are being launched commanded by women.” In his view it is essential that administrations “bet on a model where the creation of local jobs and quality services for rural people is a priority.”
The official opening will take place on 25 and will be given by the president of Fademur, Teresa Lopez and the secretary general of UPA, Lorenzo Ramos Silva (Auditorium of the School Julian Besteiro, C / Azcona, 53. Madrid). On 24 activities will be held at the headquarters of UGT (Avda. De America, 25, Madrid).
