Linde Material Handling Ibérica sponsors the Awards CEL 2018
On March 18, on the Logistics Day and coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Foundation of the Spanish Logistics Center (CEL), Linde Material Handling Iberian sponsored the XXVIII edition of the CEL Awards, which took place at the Bertelsmann Space in the city of Madrid. During the Ceremony, led by Ana Isabel González, President of the CEL and multiple personalities, recognized companies, people and organizations whose activity has a fundamental relevance in the sector, which is undergoing a constant transformation motivated by changes in the industry of the call 4.0.
Jaime Gener Bover, Managing Director of Linde Material Handling Ibérica presented the company’s CEL Award, which was for the SEUR-DPD project. This project is linked to Big Data, and is a response to the changes that e-commerce has generated in the form of consumption in society. Likewise, other awards were given, such as the CEL University Award, to Beatriz Royo Agustín, from the University of Zaragoza; the CEL Sustainability Award to BMW Group Spain, and the CEL Prize for Hospital Logistics to the Galician Health Service.
Another award to highlight was the CEL Award to the Logistic Leader of the Year, which was awarded to Luis Rafecas, Director of Logistics at Ford España. Honorable acknowledgments were also made to Jesús Arnau, from the Aragonese Development Institute; to the International Logistics Exhibition and to Ángel Viveros, Mayor of Coslada.
