Kramp: A distribution center ’10’ for guaranteed delivery in 24 hours
Coinciding with his five-year career in Spain, the Kramp Group takes a significant step in their vocation of service as a “global provider of agricultural spare parts and products for the sector”, recently inaugurating its distribution center number 10 in Algete (Madrid). Modern facilities that allow it to ensure deliveries to its suppliers and customers within 24 hours.
With this important logistics investment is in response to one of the main demands of the customers of this company in the Iberian market, because until the launch of this center (Distribution Center, DC-10, for its acronym in English) , orders from warehouses stocked with which Kramp account in France or Holland, which meant delivery times ranging from 48 to 72 hours. “With this new center, we will be able to give a full answer to all services within a day, delivery within 24 hours for orders until 18.00h” has assured Kramp CEO, Eddie Perdok.
The new facilities Kramp Agri Parts Iberia are the efforts that have been developed over five years of implantation in the Spanish market by improving the quantity and quality of its services, by consolidating a team of highly qualified professionals . “So we continue to invest in improving our services, expanding the number and variety of references, not to mention the staff who care for our customers, who increasingly grows,” has said Perdok.
In this dynamic of wanting to reach more customers in the best way possible, Kramp aims to consolidate in the market of Spain and Portugal as more than just a supplier of spare parts. “Our main aspiration is to move forward in our commitment to customers through projects like our new distribution center in Madrid, to be followed by many others, provide increasingly better services for our customers to get the most benefit by working with Kramp, so that we can be seen as the ideal business partner that helps our customers to generate wealth and added value”, has clarified Ricard Escayola, Area Sales Manager for Iberia.
The DC-10 Kramp in Madrid is part of the strategy of the Group to direct their investments to improve and expand its network of distribution centers and application of new technologies and IT tools. In fact, this new center is in addition to the five automated distribution centers which Kramp has in Europe and Russia, with a total area of 67,500 square meters.
These new facilities are one of the most important milestones of this company, in its eagerness to respond to the growing needs of efficiency and flexibility of its supply chain and one of the main demands of the market in Spain and Portugal: fastest in deliveries and immediate availability of the full range of products.
This new warehouse has an area of 3.000 m2 and a total of 22.000 references and has become the main distribution center for Spain and Portugal, with the assistance of other Kramp centers, especially that of Poitiers
