Innov-Agri reserves a space to producers affected by poor grain harvest
Innov-Agri, the largest european agricultural show in the field, is celebrated this year from 6th to 8th September in Outarville (France), in the Loiret region in central France and south of Paris. It is an area badly affected by rain in June, with significant declines, almost up to 50%, in the production of their crops, mainly cereals. For that reason, this event has as a new feature a special area of “Accompaniment” where farmers concerned may receive information about agricultural aid, regulation and even psychological support.
Also, representatives of the administration will deal with the technical and strategic aspects to adapt to the situation, and will address this and future campaigns, financing, treasury, etc. A conference under the title: “How to face the future Agricultural enterprises in difficulty” will be even offered.
As indicated by the organization, tens of thousands of visitors of agriculture from all over France, mainly producers of cereals, will concentrate during these three days at Innov-Agri. Of these, 37% also has a mixed farm, ie with livestock, according to the figures of the previous edition in 2014, which coincided with the 25th anniversary of this event.
Covering an area of 160 hectares, the fair is organized in exhibition areas of crops, harvesting areas and demonstration areas of agricultural machinery: total 237 exhibitors between French and foreign, coming from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, great Britain, Hungary, India, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. Innov-Agri will also feature an outstanding representation of companies from Spain.
Future agriculture in Innov-Agri
In the “Agroecology” zone to be located in the central area of the exhibition, twenty workshops will be devoted to topics such as agrosilvi-culture, fertilization and the use of probiotics, ecological hoe alternatives and excess will be held the sowing seeds cover and forage cereals under permanent cover, direct seeding under cover, soil preparation into strips, different soil profiles, samples of plant varieties, simulators …
