Grupo Projar surprises with its products of coconut fibers suitable for organic farming

The green sector company, Grupo Projar, has developed a line of coconut fiber products with certified ecological suitability, which contribute to improving soil for agricultural activities. This interesting innovation was made known by this company in the recent edition of the Fair Infoagro 2016, where it also presented as a novelty its range of pots and biodegradable trays, which allow to transplant without extracting the plant from its container.

The products of the new range Golden Grow, of Projar, elaborated with coconut fiber have important differences with respect to those that already exist in the market, since they are products of own manufacture elaborated by a national company, which means to maintain the quality parameters established by European regulations.

The coconut boards are introduced into the cultivation groove so that the coconut fiber is mixed with the soil, providing aeration and drainage capacity, which improves the root development of the plant and, therefore, the production horticultural

As for the biodegradable pots, also presented in this fair, they are supports that can be adapted to the trays used by the seedlings and, thus, the farmer does not need to remove the seedlings since, being biodegradable, in contact with the earth disappears.

One of the main advantages of biodegradable pots is the reduction of plant stress at a critical time such as transplantation

The pots are planted with the plant and degrade once they come into contact with the soil. In this way, a perfect rooting is achieved and the plant grows healthy.

Along with these, the company showed, through its stand at Infoagro, some of its 19 products with ecological certification endorsed by European regulations such as seed trays of recyclable synthetic material. In this way, Grupo Projar is ahead of the possible regulation in terms of reduction of the use of trays of polystyrene and the problems that will pose in the agricultural world.
