David Tardón, Valladolid creative, along with his sister Caroline and her friend Jesus Angel PozoArtezana are the owners of a newly created company where the values ​​of quality, innovation and experience are present.

David Tardón wanted to please his girlfriend that he did not like wine or beer. One day she reached for carrots and experienced. Years later he remembered his experiment had a smell and a very interesting flavor. He joined a group of experts and after two years of research and several market studies born Artezana (Sparkling Drink Carrot), a product that has subsequently been patented thanks to its innovative character.

The idea of ​​the project to develop a frothy drink from carrots under the brand Artezana, was the winner of the second Campus Emprende 2012 Prize Foundation Universities of Castilla y Leon.

Installed in Artis, the Provincial Craft Centre in Portillo, Artezana is made with carrots Castilla y Leon, which provide vitamins and antioxidants and B-carotene.

Low graduation

Artezana is a frothy beverage whose taste surprises the palate. With a slightly lower alcohol content than the champagne flavor is a mixture of beer, cider and wine. It is very nice, refreshing and sweet. Its special flavor, leaves no one indifferent, at once recognizable and unusual carrot. Popularly already started it came to be known as carrot, however, as David explains, “is that drink wine made from grapes, so … we can not call it.”

Thanks to its low alcohol content (8.5%) is ideal for eating alone or to accompany appetizers, light meals and desserts. Best served very cold.
