APROSE celebrates the I Symposium of Certified Seed Producers
The Professional Association of Select Seed Production Companies (APROSE) has organized the I Symposium of Certified Seed Producers under the slogan “Certified Seed: Sustainability and Food Safety”. The event will take place on April 12 in Cordoba at the Hotel Córdoba Center.
This Symposium aims to highlight the role of the Certified Seed in Spanish agriculture, the place occupied by seed producers in the agri-food chain and the work of APROSE.
The day will be opened by Rafael Olvera, General Director of Agricultural Production and Livestock of the Junta de Andalucía, and will also have the participation of Fernando Miranda, General Director of Agricultural Production and Markets of MAPAMA, which will address the situation of the PAC 2020 The importance of institutional genetic improvement in Spain will also be discussed with the collaboration of Josefina C. Sillero, Principal Investigator of IFAPA.
Another strong point that will be analyzed will be the technological advances in the production of Certified Seed by Arysta, Climesa, Nutrinav and Petkus, who are sponsors of the Symposium.
Finally, to conclude this day there will be a round table where you can discuss and share the different positions of the attendees, this will have the participation of Fernando Miranda, Rafael Olvera, Rafael Navas (ASAJA), Javier de Sebastián (Limagrain), Miguel Ángel Molina (Eurosemillas) and Andrés Rodríguez (AGROQUIVIR). All this, under the supervision of the journalist Elisa Plumed, who will be in charge of moderating and leading the entire event.
