Macri is now president of Argentina
In his first address to the Legislature, Mauricio Macri called on Argentines to “build the country of the century” with a strong call for “union”, the “teamwork” and its commitment to zero poverty, fight drug trafficking, and “dialogue with the world while preserving the sovereign claims.”
After the oath of office as head of state of Argentina and Vice President Gabriela Michetti, who hold office from today for a period of four years, after having won the ballot last November 22, Macri began his first message by calling to be “optimistic about the future and our hope,” because “this government that began today will work tirelessly over the next four years to all Argentines, especially those most in need.”
“As president, I want to be a citizen rather than to communicate with all Argentines to convey my doubts, my certainties, my ideas, my hope and all my desire to do,” he said Macri outlining a leadership of “modern leaders working together to serve others “outlining its management coming years.
“In the past century society favored individual leadership in all areas: in all fields geniuses solve everything looked, but in the XXI century have understood that things go well when teams are put together,” he said, citing its passage for the areas of sport and the Chief of Government of Buenos Aires where these “built concrete solutions to the problems of the people.”
Macri reiterated in his speech the main themes of his campaign: “zero poverty”, the “war on drugs” and “Union of Argentine” which highlighted as an “exciting challenge” and “the key building Argentina of the XXI century “because” now is a new era of dialogue, respect and teamwork; and more social justice. ”
He also reiterated that “this government will fight corruption” and said: “I will be ruthless with anyone of any party, either themselves or others, which fail to comply with prescribed by law: no tolerance for such abusive practices, because the Argentine assets are for all Argentines, and not for the misuse of officials “.
In the presence of several leaders of the region and the world, the Head of State said: “We have a new vision in politics, and believe in the unity and cooperation of Latin America and the world is necessary to overcome the confrontation, though. of course keep our sovereign claims, we will do without that prevent normal relations with all countries of the world. ”

The agrodiputado and former leader of CRA, Ricardo Buryaile, is the Minister of Agriculture Macri.
