Afammer introduced draft women and new technologies in the revitalization of rural areas

Carmen Quintanilla, national president of Afammer, has shelled at a press conference the project, noting that it has developed in the provinces of Ciudad Real, Logroño and Murcia, setting objectives, female entrepreneurship in rural areas; reduce the unemployment rate by incorporating women into economic activity and identify the needs of aged dependents in rural areas.
Quintanilla has indicated that it intended to create a virtual network of rural women, in order to establish professionalism in this type of work and increase job opportunities for rural women and to develop in them the ability to self-organization and action .
Afammer National President noted that in this project there have been five major activities that have been; a study on the needs of the aging population; creating a virtual environment where women can exchange experiences; information system-training advice to rural women; the development of a group discussion with women entrepreneurs and finally, promotion and dissemination of the project.
Regarding the first activity, Quintanilla reported to have been carried out 294 surveys, 114 rural women and 180 elderly and dependent people, this medium. Plan to Promote Rural
Afammer National President, Carmen Quintanilla has referred to the implementation of the Plan of Promotion of Rural Areas, which follows a promise by the Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, who promised to put into operation.
