Imazalil 7.5 has MAPA authorization for use in Drencher

In view of the recent published news reporting that the application in drencher of imazalil 7.5 was prohibited, we want to demean this fact and guarantee that the use of imazalil 7.5 is totally safe. Such active material has ministerial authorization and is included in the register of plant protection products of the MAPA.

For those who are unaware of this substance, imazalil is an active principle that acts as a post-harvest fungicide against agents such as Penicillium, Colletotrichum and Fusarium, among others. It can be applied both in drencher and in spray in line and waxed, depending on the formulations and the fruits to be treated.
