Rodrigo de la Calle supports the candidacy of Almería as gastronomic capital
The chef Rodrigo de la Calle talked about the flavors of Almeria in a ceremony held in Madrid, to support the candidacy of the Andalusian city as the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2019, a destination “with a plant diversity like no other in Europe.”
During the event, held in the Cosentino City space, the renowned chef who owns a restaurant with a Michelin star, answered the questions for Efeagro and made clear “passion” for the culinary wealth of Almeria, which, in his opinion, “is unique ”
“I have the orchard of Almería in my heart, I am in love with its vegetable products; we just need to let them know and discover to the rest of the world what the province offers, “he added.
The event also served to promote the Sabores Almería brand, which seeks to position the province as a first class gastronomic destination, as well as the poster of the Gastronomic Festival Degustho.
