A ‘DNA’ to distinguish the protagonists of Spanish Agro
The International Fair for the Fruit and Vegetable, Fruit Attraction, will host the delivery of distinctions ‘DNA Agro Cajamar‘ to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA), the agronomist and PhD in Agricultural Economics, Tomas Garcia Azcarate, and the Valencian chef Ricard Camarena. The event will take place on 5th October, at 13.30 hours.
In this second edition of the awards, Cajamar wanted to highlight the policy work of the Ministry of Agriculture to encourage the promotion and modernization of the Spanish countryside, especially the fruit and vegetable sector as well as its outstanding activity scientific and informative promotion and its contribution to development internationalization.
In the case of Tomas Garcia Azcarate, currently director in charge of coordinating short-term economic agricultural markets of the European Union analysis, it is recognized with this award his support for the Spanish horticulture, his work for the integration of the food industry Europe and his role as a strategic agent of the Spanish economy. And Ricard Camarena, Valencian Michelin star chef, is distinguished by its value fruit and vegetable as the basis of its cuisine, promoting local product recovery for innovative cuisine.
The activity of the Cajamar Group will be located in this edition of Fruit Attraction at stand 4C10 in Hall 4 at Ifema, an area of almost 130 square meters, which will be the workplace for a large delegation, headed by its president, Eduardo Baamonde; Vice President Jose Luis Heredia; and CEO, Francisco Gonzalez.
This year also, go to Fruit Attraction a representation of managers, professionals and specialists in agro-food business in different Spanish producing regions, such as regional directors of Cajamar in Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Valencia, La Rioja, Region Murcia and Navarra, in order to accompany during these four days, as the rest of the year, companies, cooperatives and organizations that are funded and regularly advised to promote new business opportunities.
Conventions and interviews “in streaming”
In Fruit Attraction will be signed an agreement with ICEX as collaborating institution of the International Platform of Cajamar, in which fifteen organizations specializing in international services advise and give support to Spanish companies, especially agribusiness, which operate in the Exterior.
Cajamar in Fruit Attraction will sign an agreement with the Business Association Fruita de Catalunya, which represents almost all fruit production and business Catalan and mostly national, especially apple and pear, and Protected Geographical Indication Poma de Girona
In both cases, the agreement provides financial solutions to undertake new projects, investments, meet payment commitments, promote internationalization, management of aid granted by the administration and insurance.
Another noteworthy initiative this year is that Cajamar dedicates in its booth space to broadcast live professional meetings with eight entrepreneurs who address topics of interest to the food industry. These interviews will be held in the afternoon on 5th and 6th October and will be broadcasted in streaming via social networks.
