In the framework of the XIV edition of its summer courses, the University Pablo de Olavide, Seville, held from 4 to 6 July, at its headquarters in Carmona, gastronomic days “Feel and Taste the Andalusian cuisine”. Its main mission is to present the rich legacy and heritage of Andalusian cuisine, providing a different look that gives prominence to the senses and the good work of professionals regional cuisine.
Throughout this sensory and cultural experience, the assistant will have the opportunity to savor and enjoy culinary creations that will delight and transport attendants to a world of rich knowledge and flavors. For this purpose it’s been developed a comprehensive program that includes tastings, shows-cooking, tastings and exhibitions of master chefs recognized career.
Of these activities, the most highlight are a workshop and tasting salted fish; wine tastings led by sommeliers and experts in oenology; workshop initiation to tasting Extra Virgin Olive Oil and cooking with this precious ‘green gold’; presentation and tasting of the types of coffees and chocolate pairings; beer tasting and pairing with Andalusian products; cooking with quinoa and tasting of dishes made with this cereal, or making desserts with extra virgin olive oil.
A must for those who like to eat well and drink better, and a event where they can feel and taste a kitchen in which tradition, art and quality products combine perfectly appointment.
This course is aimed at students, foodies, professionals, amateurs and the general public to enjoy the pleasure of a good cooking.
