30 Salon de Gourmets: Product as protagonist
Days 4, 5, 6 and 7 April it repositions the red carpet parade for the best, most original, exceptional and, above all, the players in the Hall of Gourmets (SG) products. An exhibition will feature more than 35,000 food and beverage quality that reflect the strength of the sector and enrich the Spanish culinary heritage.
In addition, 80,000 professionals are expected to attend in search of the most unique products and culinary trends that will shape next year, they will also discover the more than 1,000 new products to be presented at the SG.
The activities held in the Hall of Gourmets (SG), International Fair of Food and Beverage Quality have always enjoyed a unique role. The more than 500 held during the four days allow professionals to discover and divulge the specifics of each product. To this are added, media chefs that officiate and showmanship contests where the best professionals involved.

23 Competition Cutters Ham / Dehesa de Extremadura
SG veteran contest to be held on Monday, April 4, at 11:30 am on Stage Gourmets (Hall 6), already has the journalist Enrique Calduch as host of the championship and Elena Diéguez Garbayo, vice president of the Council regulator DO Dehesa de Extremadura, as president of the jury.

22 Championship Sommeliers Spain Glorioso
On Wednesday, April 6, at 16:00, and Thursday, April 7, at 10:30 am, will be held at the Stage Gourmets (Hall 6) Glorioso this championship sponsored and co-organized by the Union of Associations sommeliers (UAES) and Grupo Gourmets where sommeliers will have to show their knowledge to achieve the awards.
21 Wine Tunnel / MAGRAMA
297 wines, 240 wineries and 22 varieties, allow you to explore the different DD.OO. of Spain, appreciate the characteristics of the grapes and taste the best vintages of the most outstanding wineries in the country, assisted by sommeliers to handle inquiries from visitors.

Exhibitors and foreign buyers trading nations in BC, which is scheduled to 1.840 business meetings are held. So far 92 have confirmed their participation importers from Germany, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, United States, Finland, France, Guatemala, India, Japan,

Spain 9 Championship Openers Oyster-Écailleurs / Sorlut
One of the biggest challenges of the Hall on Wednesday, April 6 held at 11:30 pm in the Stage Gourmets (Hall 6). A contest that requires such subtlety that only the best can be presented. Jessica Marin Serpeska, winner in the 2015, has been the only woman who has managed to win the title, defeating three-time champion of Spain Nabil Rezzouki, and opening 30 oysters in just 3 minutes and five seconds.

The national final will take place on Tuesday, April 5 at 10:30 pm in the Stage Gourmets (Hall 6). In this contest they will compete the winners of Andalusia (Juan Jesus Ortega / Sergio Toro), Extremadura (Francisco Javier Refolio / Santiago Bravo); Cantabria (Borja Gutiérrez Aguirre / Ruben Gonzalez Castañeda); Canary Islands (Violant Pallejá Pique / David Ruiz Zarria); Castilla y Leon (Simon Garcia Sanz / Nuria Basurto); and Valencia (Luis Miguel Garcia / José Vicente Miralles) and those that are winners of the championship of Madrid.
GourmeTapa Estrella Galicia, 4 Championship in Spain Tapas for Gourmets
On Tuesday, April 5, at 16:00 and Wednesday, April 6, at 10:30 am, will be held this contest presented by journalist Goyo González. With a maximum of 25 contestants, the jury of chefs Jesus Santamaria, Javier Brichetto, Jesus Almagro and journalist Rosa Conde, will choose the most original tapas and better harmonize with Star Special Galicia, 1906 or 1906 Special Reserve Red Vintage.
