The Board of Rice in Extremadura emerges in Agroexpo
The Extremadura rice sector has completed the creation of the Board of Rice in Extremadura with the formal establishment of this organization, held today January 28, as part of Agroexpo 2016 being held until Saturday in Don Benito (Badajoz, Spain). This group is chaired by Agri-food Cooperatives Extremadura, aims to unite efforts and implement actions that benefit the whole sector.
Board of Rice in Extremadura, chaired by the president of the Rice Sector Agri-Food Cooperatives Extremadura, Felix Light, will aim from now on be an umbrella body of producers and industries of this sector in the region to to join efforts and implement actions that benefit the entire rice sector Extremadura.
Thus, it is constituted by initiative of the rice sector in Extremadura of an association with legal personality and full legal capacity, non-profit, having its registered office in Don Benito (Badajoz), particularly in facilities Feval .
The President of the Board of Rice in Extremadura, Felix Light said after the formation of this entity will be structured into three distinct sectors: the cooperative producer, producer private warehouses and transformer. The production sector will be composed of cooperatives and private stores of rice, regulated and registered according to the regulations affecting them, residing in Extremadura. Meanwhile, the industrial sector will be composed of the user industries in Extremadura rice.
His territory is that of the autonomous community of Extremadura and professional related activities include monitoring the campaign, research, innovation and development of rice cultivation and the products obtained from this and any other activity in favor of sector.
The Board of Rice has statutes that govern this association and that includes, among other things, that the representative office of that table are rotating annually.
