Tecnicarton has designed new packaging for heavy goods
The company DS Smith Tecnicarton presented in the latest edition of Empack Porto, on 21th and 22th September, its new packaging Heavy Duty, designed as heavy-duty cardboard and especially designed to transport bulky or heavy parts. These packages allow to maximize stacking spaces, both in stores and in transport and assembly centers.
This new pallet of cardboard has been exposed for the first time at the fair Empack Porto Porto (Portugal), where visitors were able to see firsthand their strength and possibilities, attended at all times by the team Tecnicarton, which has responded to all doubts and questions.

In addition to these new packaging, Tecnicarton has also led to this fair its product Tecnitank, in response to the good reception it had last year at this same event. This is a cardboard container of 1.000 liters in the previous edition aroused great interest among Portuguese producers of chemical and food industry.
Tecnicarton makers took advantage of this event to continue to report on the possibilities of this container, made of corrugated cardboard and specially designed for transporting food liquids. And thanks to the strength of the board allows stacking, so it is an optimal solution for transoceanic transport.
As in other events, Empack has also served to focus on industry solutions Tecnicarton offers. Thus, those attending the fair have known multimaterial solutions returnable packaging, such as plastic folding containers, with the interior designed as parts to be transported. These solutions minimize logistics costs. In this range of industrial products have been also exhibited bacs and trays for assembly lines and solutions of conductive and antistatic packaging.
