Spanish sector at the Seafood Expo North America 2016
The MAGRAMA promotes the products of fishing and aquaculture in the International Fair of Fish, held in Boston from 6 to 8 March, where he will promote fishery products and aquaculture and offer support to Spanish companies that market fishery products.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA) participates in the Seafood Expo North America 2016, which for this host in the institutional stand of the National Association of Manufacturers of Canned Fish and Shellfish (ANFACO-CECOPESCA), the Business Association Marine Aquaculture Producers of Spain (APROMAR) and the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Manufacturers and Exporters of Fisheries and Aquaculture (CONXEMAR).
These associations will come accompanied by various companies in various subsectors of the marketing of fresh fish products, frozen, canned and marine aquaculture, with quality products and innovative, such as organic sea bass fresh and fresh produce from fifth range packed in skin, ready for consumption.
The Ministry has also organized an agenda of individual business meetings, open to all Spanish companies participating in the fair depending on the needs of each, with a selection of those contacts adapted importers, agents or distributors.
The Directorate General of Fisheries Management of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, keep this forum meetings with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Fisheries of New Brunswick, one of the ten provinces of Canada, to be attended by major companies and authorities sector.
Seafood Expo North America
Boston Fair is considered as an excellent business platform. In its last edition they were attended by more than 20,000 professionals from 100 countries.
Spain’s presence at the fair is done with funding from the Ministry and funded by the European Union through the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).
