Spain: Mac born FRUITATTRACTION, a synergy between Fruit Attraction and Macfrut
The exhibition operators in Spain and Italy, IFEMA and Cesena Fiera, have reached a collaboration agreement for the creation of a new global brand for the fruit and vegetable sector in order to develop professional events of this industry in strategic markets. This platform has named Mac FRUITATTRACTION, a mixture of Fruit Attraction (International Fair of Fruit and Vegetables in Spain) and Macfrut (Fruit & Veg Professional Show, in Italy).
The idea is to favor the positioning and ‘network’ international professional horticultural enterprises with direct access to new strategic markets that contact with local operators and the area of influence.
The first hall of Mac FRUITATTRACTION be held in Cairo from 4 to May 7, 2016 in the framework of FoodAfrica following agreement with IFP Group, the leading exhibition operator in the Middle East, covering the geographical area of the Middle East and North from Africa.
In words, “the internationalization of horticulture is performed by specific development plans for the global market, and both FRUITATTRACTION as Macfrut, are platforms that go that direction.” He adds that “the birth of the new project, which arises from

TamerSafwat, CEO of IFP Egypt, FoodAfrica organizer, highlights the opportunities for international horticultural sector in Egypt, in an area of very active and dynamic in its production, import and export horticultural influence. FoodAfrica had an attendance of 8,340 professionals and 241 exhibitors from 18 countries last year.
