Spain: Lorenzo Garcia, new president of Interporc
The General Assembly of the Interprofessional Porcine Layer Blanca, Interporc, unanimously chose Manuel Garcia Lorenzo, the National Association of Producers of Pigs (Anprogapor) way, as the new president. Lorenzo Garcia is replacing Loriente Clement, who has been appointed vice president.

The Assembly also unanimously approved the new standard extension for the next four years to develop in areas of great strategic value for the sector: national and international promotion, communication and image sector, innovation and research, technical studies and information sectoral and management own extension of standard.
The promotion, communication and image sector will have a 70% of the total budget of the new extension of standard and will be geared to promoting the consumption of meat and products derived from the Spanish pig white coating on the internal market and on the market International.
For its part, the area of Innovation, Research and Development (R & D) will have 20% of the budget of the Interprofessional for the next four years, for the development of projects on quality, health, processes, products, etc. . Finally, the Inter allocate 10% of its budget to support the activities of administrative and institutional management, management of projects and activities funded extension and maintenance of standard collection systems.
