First Agrifood Fair of Castilla la Mancha

The capital of Ciudad Real will host from 20 to 22 May the First Agrifood Fair of Castilla la Mancha. This is an initiative by his government, and that is part of a global project aimed at boosting the promotion of quality figures of this region in national and international food fairs.
The event, which will coincide with the celebration this year in the capital of Day of Castilla la Mancha, will have an itinerant character and date comprise the days leading up to May 31, in the town where the main event of the Day of the Region to develop .
This show aims to publicize the excellence of the food industry in the region in sectors such as wine, oil, lamb, bread cross, melon, eggplant Almagro, or purple garlic from Las Pedroñeras, through a varied program which includes activities such as tastings, tastings and lectures.
In this showcase where will be displayed and presented the various references and figures of food quality of La Mancha autonomous community, will have exhibitors, among others, the Awards Great Selection, Wines of Castilla-La Mancha, the IGP purple garlic from Las Pedroñeras , the DO Valdepeñas, the Foundation of the Regulatory Advisor Manchego cheese, the IGP Berenjena de Almagro, DO Olive Oil Field Montiel, DO Olive Oil Campo de Calatrava and Quality Mark Oil Valle de Alcudia, PGI Melon de La Mancha, the IGP Pan de Cruz, the IGP Cordero Manchego DO Olive Oil Montes de Toledo, the DO La Mancha, Wines Quality Mark Cave and Traditional Speciality Guaranteed (TSG) Serrano ham.
This fair has as collaborators the financial institutions, Globalcaja and Bankia, and has the support of the Interprofessional Olive Oil from Spain.
