Online course for farms advisers
The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture taught an online course for farms advisers and rural development to broaden the knowledge of trainers and technicians to support farmers in compliance with EU and Spanish regulations. The MAGRAMA has a web platform to support the course with video, documentation and work forums.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA) has scheduled a permanent blended course on line, to ” Farms and rural development advisers “, which will be held along the entire year 2016, from the headquarters of the Directorate General for Rural Development and Forest Policy.
The course, which interested parties can join throughout the year, is aimed at trainers and technicians from different administrations, Networks and Groups of Rural Development, Agricultural Organisations, Cooperatives and Associations in rural areas; workers in the field of advice to farms and businesses and / or entrepreneurs in rural and Local Development Agents.
It aims to expand the knowledge of trainers and technicians so they can support farmers in meeting the requirements of the Community and Spanish legislation. It also provides methodological training for participants to increase their effectiveness as advisors to farms and provides information on the LEADER methodology and new approaches to rural development in Spain and the European Union.
To do this, the program 100 hours on-line includes managing the web platform supporting the course and development of case studies; updating experiences in rural and local development; advisory services and the CAP 2014-2020 and experiences of interest in the productive sector: agriculture, livestock, forestry and agribusiness.
Experiences of interest also arise in the environmental sector: water, energy, biodiversity, landscape and various aspects of innovation will be addressed in rural areas and the new PAC 2014-2020 or how to improve communication with social networks. The course is completed with interesting experiences and case studies
