Kramp Groep can remember the year 2015 with satisfaction. Despite market difficulties, the company experienced an increase in turnover of almost 5%, reaching 699 million euros. Operating profit (EBITDA) increased by almost 20%, approaching 81 million euros. Kramp Groep aims to achieve a turnover of 1000 million euros for 2020.

Developments in the market
Like last year, the company has posted impressive numbers in its developing markets. Kramp Groep has grown almost 20% in France and Russia. In southern Europe it has also had a good performance, with significant growth in Spain, Portugal and Italy, as in Eastern European countries such as the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. Growth in the countries where it is already established has been a little lower. Countries such as Poland, Germany and Denmark have had a clearly more difficult exercise, a fact that can be attributed to the local market situation. However, the market share in these countries continues to rise.
Forecasts
Although market prospects are not particularly positive, the forecast is that Kramp Groep continue its upward trend with a growth forecast for 2016 by almost 5%. further growth in Southern Europe and Eastern Europe is expected. In addition, more benefits thanks to the merger between Kramp and Grene is expected.
Investments in 2016 amounted to 30 million euros. several extensions, such as a warehouse in Varsseveld be built. a total of 9 million euros will be invested in IT and e-commerce.
