Jorge Esteban, new CEO of Feria de Zaragoza
Jorge Esteban is CEO of the Feria de Zaragoza, which is part of Spain’s leading trade fair organizations with a large number of events that place it at the forefront of the international scene of trade shows in Europe.
Esteban graduated in law from the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR), and has the PDD at IESE Business School, Program Administration and Management at IE Business School, and further training in Human Resources and Accounting Audit by AECA and ICAC.
His professional career has run in the sectors of communication and press (Metro Group), banking (Banco Popular), telecommunications (FiberTel) and government agencies (Government of Aragon).
In the 2001’s when he joined the Government of Aragon, in the Financial Management Service, staff and General Affairs Department of the Presidency and Institutional Relations, passing in 2009 Section centralized procurement and Catalogue Management Service Centralized Procurement.
After 9 years in the public sector, the private sector returns assuming the duties of Director of Development Company Eboca subsequently was responsible for Procurement Department of Zalba-Caldu, after which assumed responsibility Vending Canal in Chocolates Lacasa.
In 2011 he was appointed director of the Association of Family Business of Aragon (ACEA), an independent association and nonprofit established at the initiative of family businesses Aragonese to represent the interests of the Company Family of Aragon, and a member of several boards of different private companies from various economic sectors.
President of the Executive Committee of Fair, Manuel Teruel, has expressed its belief that the appointment of the new CEO will strengthen the national and international leadership of the trade fair of Zaragoza, as well as enhancing its role as one of the great engines Aragon’s economy.
